IMPORTANT NOTICE

The following important dates when your support is needed to object to the following planning application:

Friday 31st August 7.00 pm - Special Planning Committee Meeting, Carnegie Hall, Westhoughton Town Hall

Tuesday 4th Sept 6.30 pm for 7.oo pm - Area Forum in which the application can be discussed with local councillors (venue Westhoughton High School)

Thursday 6th Sept 10.25am - Provisional time for site meeting of Planning Committee at Tempest Road Site. (Please confirm time with Alex Allen of the Planning Dept. nearer 6th Sept.)

Thursday 6th Sept 10.40 am - Provisional time for site meeting of Planning Committee at Chew Moor Lane site. (Please confirm time with Alex Allen of the Planning Dept. nearer 6th Sept.)

Thursday 6th Sept 2.00 pm - Planning Committee Meeting Town Hall, Bolton.

Please attend as many meetings as possible to register your objections. It is very important that you attend the Tempest Road site meeting and also the committee meeting at 2.00 pm on 6th September to demonstate the strength of objection to the application.

Please note that revised plans have now been lodged for an increased Car Parking facility with 100 spaces on the land to the west of Tempest Road (The Jubilee Park). If you think this is inappropriate for the Green Belt area and for Tempest Road in general, please write a letter of objection immediately to the Council and your Councillors. We must make our feelings known or we risk being ignored.
